Tuck Everlasting is the story of a girl named Winnie and a family who she meets, the Tucks. The Tucks have a secret, they're immortal.They drank water from a spring that was actually a fountain of youth. Till the end of time, they will stay that way. Winnie falls inlove with one of the Tucks, Jesse, a "17" year old boy who shares the same feelings for her. Scared of death, Winnie must choose between being immortal and being with Jesse or following the circle of life and dying someday. The Tucks try to teach her how she shouldn't fear death, how they would give anything to die. It teaches the importance and understanding of life and death.It shows that you should not fear death, but to fear an unlived life.

Play Scrabble Slam Cards For Card-Slapping, Word-Changing Fun
It can be hard to find a game that adults can enjoy playing with their children, but Scrabble Slam Cards fits the bill! Scrabble Slam Cards is a fun, simple way to pass the time with friends or family, and it can help kids learn words along the way.
The idea is quite simple - a four letter word is laid out on the table (DUCK, GATE, DROP, etc) then the rest of the cards are dealt out to the players. The deck contains 55 cards, and not every letter of the alphabet is included (no 'Q's or 'X's!). There are a few blanks which are like wild cards and can represent any letter of the alphabet, just as in the original Scrabble game. There are two letters on each card, one on front and one on back.
So, the players take their turn to lay single cards on top of any of the four letters on the table to change the word. A player could, for instance, lay an 'L' on the 'D' of DUCK, changing the word to LUCK. The next player might put 'T' on the 'L' making the word TUCK. And so on. As the game goes on it becomes harder and harder to make new words. It's also a good idea to get rid of difficult letters as soon as possible (you don't want to get stuck with a 'Z' if you can help it!)
At the end of the game the player with the fewest cards left over is the winner. If you want to make the game more challenging, you can play with longer words. Just adding one letter to make 5-letter words makes it much more difficult.
That's it. A simple, fun, fast-paced race to change words as quickly as you can and get rid of as many cards as you can.
